Life, Death and Following Traffic Rules by Apurva Rakesh – Class – VII – C – DPS Surat

I’m pretty sure that all those who are reading this article have broken at least one traffic rule in their life. It may be missing a red light or underage driving and quite a few times wondered how really these rules help us. Although I’d love to say that they’ve been made by the government for earning extra money but that’s not the case. Believe it or not these rules may prove to be the line between life and death for somebody, a red light for an elderly person who cannot cross roads like those young runners. These rules just don’t work for the drivers of the vehicle but for every citizen who uses the roads. Sometimes we don’t realise this but they do.

Road Safety Message from Preet Sharan- Class VII-F-Delhi Public School Surat

“You Only Live Once”

Everyday many people are killed or get severally injured . One should learn and use the roads carefully and safely. In a survey it was said that every ten seconds there is a road accident somewhere in the world. People in India take road safety rules very lightly. Over speeding is a common sight on the roads. Outside India in many developed countries road safety rules are very strict. The traffic department of Surat city earns crores of rupees every year. Roads, nowadays have become very busy. One should use a pedestrian crossing or an overhead bridge to cross roads. In case there are none, one should look left and right and the cross the road. As for drivers, one should wear a seat belt and turn on the indicator lights while turning or changing the lane. Two wheeler drives must wear a helmet while riding their two wheeler.

FOLLOW ROAD SAFETY RULES PROPERLY AND YOU’LL LIVE TO USE THEM AGAIN……

USE THEM CARELESSLY AND YOU MAY NOT LIVE TO USE THEM AGAIN!!

LIFE IS PRECIOUS….. TAKE CARE OF IT!!!
