Road Safety Message from Preet Sharan- Class VII-F-Delhi Public School Surat

“You Only Live Once”

Everyday many people are killed or get severally injured . One should learn and use the roads carefully and safely. In a survey it was said that every ten seconds there is a road accident somewhere in the world. People in India take road safety rules very lightly. Over speeding is a common sight on the roads. Outside India in many developed countries road safety rules are very strict. The traffic department of Surat city earns crores of rupees every year. Roads, nowadays have become very busy. One should use a pedestrian crossing or an overhead bridge to cross roads. In case there are none, one should look left and right and the cross the road. As for drivers, one should wear a seat belt and turn on the indicator lights while turning or changing the lane. Two wheeler drives must wear a helmet while riding their two wheeler.

FOLLOW ROAD SAFETY RULES PROPERLY AND YOU’LL LIVE TO USE THEM AGAIN……

USE THEM CARELESSLY AND YOU MAY NOT LIVE TO USE THEM AGAIN!!

LIFE IS PRECIOUS….. TAKE CARE OF IT!!!

A Message from Nishtha Nandwani of Class VII-B DPS Surat on – Following Traffic Rules

SAFETY AND TRAFFIC RULES
When we talk about safety, the common thought that enters our mind is road accidents. While there are different kinds of safety precautions we need to take in our day-to-day life,
road safety is one of the most important and required one. Roads contain a lot of danger. Every year in India many, many people die due to accidents and people not taking road safety precautions. Safety is actually a step to protect yourself from danger. Thus, the way to protect ourselves from the dangers of accidents on roads is to “follow traffic rules”. Traffic rules doesn’t only mean the green, yellow and red light, but it’s actually a way by which we can avoid accidents. But this goal can only be achieved when there are good minded and responsible people in the society, who really do follow them and instructs others for the same. If on feels that wearing seat belt and a helmet gives them a headache or waiting on signals is irritating, then, there is all possibility that person will meet with an accident some day!!”LIFE IS NOT ONLY YOURS, BUT ALSO OF THE ONES WHO LOVE YOU. SO DO FOLLOW TRAFFIC RULES AND CARE FOR THE
GIFT OF GOD “life will not come again!!
